When I get a new email, it comes in through my messages section.

Is there a way to stop my new email from coming through the MESSAGES portion of my BB?

All email will come in through the message folder, it's the way the BB is set up. You can seperate the text messages from the messages though.

Open up the message icon, then menu, options, general options, sms and email inboxes: separate.
