Default Answer Button collapsed

The green answer button on my 8330 has "collapsed". It's not raised nearly as much as when new. This is causing a lot of trouble answering the phone. It's hard to push, but more than that, even when i carefully push the key, it doesn't answer. I usually have to press the key SEVERAL times, then slowly it answers.

I took it to Sprint (totally useless, btw), and they said it was working fine. They cycled it several times by pushing the button when not answering a call, and bringing up the call list. And yes, that works fine. But when answering a call it doesn't work fine. Does that make sense? And has anyone else had this issue?

I'm ready to tell Sprint where to go, since they obviously didn't believe me.

Steve

The button obviously works. Have you pulled the battery to reboot the phone?

Hmm. If battery pull doesn't work, it may be a hardware issue. Do not put any liquid on it as someone above suggested.
