every day, email stops downloading?

Default every day, email stops downloading?

Hello - I have 8330 Curve with VZW. I have 2 Email accounts on it: Work (IMAP), and personal (POP3).

Yesterday it stopped receiving (only) the Personal (POP3) email. I deleted/recreated the account and no fix, so I do battery-pull and all is good. This morning (I turn BB off at night) it again was not receiving the Personal email (work email was ok), so I battery-pull, no help, so I deleted/re-created the account and all is good again.

I don't know what tomorrow will happen, but I wish I knew what kinds of things could be causing this, where I could be looking to get information to help me debug this, or what might fix it permanently.

Any ideas?

Welcome to the forums.

Are you using the auto on/off feature? Try not using it and see if the problem persists.

You said you turned the device off. Try leaving it on and post what your results are.

not sure what the problem was the 1st time, but the 2nd time the problem looks like forgot to uncheck the 'sync delete' box when recreated the account, so when the email got downloaded from the POP server, the BBerry deleted it.

so good for now, I think.
