Default Can VZ Access Manager connect to shared network?

I'm need some help connecting my Blackberry to my company's S: drive. My boss a Tour and can access our shared drive remotely using VZ Access Manager. I have a Curve and am able to use as a modem but I cannot access the shared drive. Any suggestions?

Typically, you need a VPN program to access a company network.

VZW Access connects you to the internet the same as if you had a wi-fi connection, but most companies security processes require a VPN to get to the data. Your laptop should require that no matter how you connect (other than on your company location, of course).

This would probably be a great question for your company IT folks.
There are so many different setups that they are the ones to help with this.
