i have no doubt that she knows exactly what she has been typing in for the last few months that she has had the phone. I think she was assuming that she was putting in the numbers. she def remembers what those numbers are, no question about it. But as you know darth and I now know its actually the letters you are putting in. you can review my last few posts to see my theory on what happened.

i would certainly hope that if you are a BlackBerry® Certified Support Specialist and
BlackBerry® Certified System Administrator (v5.0) that you would understand these issues with no problem. you may want to work on your customer service skills. if you are in the business of helping people, probably not the best idea to insult them. again, i'll wish you the best in turning your life around... its never too late.

I've heard this one before too.
"I was looking at the numbers when typing them, so that's what I was typing."

I am most certainly certifiable in more ways than one. LOL! (The people on BBF that know me personally can verify.) And I know the resolution to these problems. It pretty much comes down to OPERATOR ERROR. Begging for help from Admins isn't going to solve the problem.

Thanks for telling me to turn my life around. I don't think I could ever get that done without your expert advice. /sarcasm

I just joined up here at blackberry forums... and I gota say I'm not impressed with some here who seem to want to belittle people coming here for advice... calling people stupid is not acceptable behavior IMHO. Trying to be Sherlock Holmes and coming to the conclusion he was trying to break into hi gf's phone is ridiculous... he wasn't asking for some magical password...just why his wasn't working.

That being said I can feel for the op as I have had a very similar experience with my blackberry. I password protected my berry for about a month without any problems... then one day it would not accept my password... needless to say my phone got wiped. Yes I was panicked... but yes the world didn't come to an end. I learned my lesson and back up my phone, and I'll never password protect it again.

Darthberry... feel free to call me stupid if you feel the need... your a looser dude.

I think I'll spend my time at the other blackberry sites where people are a little more mature.
