Hello BB geniuses, I REALLY need your help.
I need to fix my wife's BB8330 so that it will sync with Outlook 2007
I just purchased a new Dell computer running Win7, installed Outlook 2007 and the latest version of BBDM (126.96.36.199).
I connected the 8330 to the computer and allowed the BBDM to search for new software updates for the device. It found some, and they were installed (seemingly successfully).
Every time I try to sync, I get the following message during the Address Book portion : "Unable to read Application Data)
I ran into a similar problem (except the error came during sync of Calendar) on our old computer (running XP, but the same version of BBDM) and Outlook 2003. It worked fine in the beginning for a few months, then once the error came up during the sync, we could never get rid of it.
Thought a new computer (needed a new one anyway) and new Outlook version would help but alas it did not.
other thoughts--I have reloaded the BBDM several times, with no effect I also did save the contacts list from the old computer and import it into the new Outlook 2007 (could this cause the issue???)
I'm ready to take the phone back to Verizon and get a new one......if I could only figure out if it was the phone, the version of Outlook, the version of BBDM etc......that is causing the issue.
