I started having this problem today. When I go to do a search in my address book or add a new address my keyboard produces weird random symbols. Some of them are correct but many are not. I said symbols because they look weird, not like letters or numbers.

I removed the battery, sim card, and memory card, cleaned contacts and reinserted. Still the same issue. It has not been around any moisture at all. I'm a 60 year old college student and it sits right beside me at my desk.

What's going on and how do you fix it?

It is a curve series 8310, almost two years old.
