I'm using 4.5.0.77 currently. What are the new features in .175 that differentiate it from previous versions?

Wow, there are probably two dozen upgrade threads for you to read through, then.
Lots of bugs and stuff.

But if your .77 works fine, leave it as it.

If you want to move up to a 16GB card, you need to get off of .77 like I did. Also, there are some phishing browser security issues that were resolved according to other sources:

Thanks for the info. I'll make the upgrade this weekend. .77 sems to have a bad memory leak - I have to reboot 2 or 3 times a day.

I don't believe wireless update was activated for the 8330 device model. I've only seen wireless updates on 8350i and newer devices. Key rule of thumb is the device needs the file free amount to hold the downloaded software and the older BlackBerries had enough memory problems without have to worry about cleaning out a good 20 MBs a wireless update.

Just think about how far BlackBerries have come from then till now... And what else is coming.

OK, that explains why I never saw the wireless updates, even though the option was available. Upgraded to .175 and so far, so good.

Yep, not from Verizon, but still an official release from Boost Mobile.

Latest OS: 8330 5.0.0.724/5.0.0.438 (Multilanguage)

Just upgraded my BB 8330 to V4.5.0.175, but I lost my Memopad application.
The upgrade deleted the app. How can I get it back?

Welcome to the forums.

Connect your device to your PC, launch DM, Go into App Loader and then place a check next to Memo Pad.

Connected to PC, launched DM, and in App Loader (add/remove app or update app).
The Memopad app is not listed.
In fact, i do not see any of the OS apps (e.g. Adress book, Calendar, Tasks, etc).
