Default Application Disappearance

Please Login to Remove!

I recently went about updating my sprint navigation application, i was prompted to when i tried to open the app itself, and there was apparently complications. During the download/install process my phone lost connection and the download stopped, telling me it timed out or some variation of that explanation. I figure no big deal, i'll redownload it later and deal with it at some other point. Few days later i go yo do so only to find that the application icon itself was no longer on my desktop. ive looked everywhere i can think to look but to no avail. When i look in the application list under settings its still in the list. Any possible explanations or fixes anyone may offer would be grealy appreciated, thank you.
