You need a BlackBerry Data Plan in order to get email push on a BlackBerry. Call your carrier and get the proper data plan setup. Then you will be able to get the email setup options for BIS (BlackBerry Internet Service).

I talked to ATT for over an hour today. They said there is nothing that they can do because the phone is completely unlocked, even with a PDA plan. The phone is from Japan and has no carrier info on the phone.

From the home screen, press ALT+CAP+H (ALT key + CAP key + H)

So much for no carrier information.

Can they not see/add the IMEI and PIN to your account? Might be blacklisted. Or was it one of those too good to be true deals?

It is running a platform with att crap on the platform. No it was not one of those to good to be true deals. They said that they can't see or add the phone's IMEI. A have a couple of friends that work for att and they all have said phone is unlocked. Any one with a sim chip can use that phone and they would have the same issues. They also told to check the forums is see if any one can help.
