| Random Shut Off, suspect battery Please Login to Remove! I'm suspecting a battery problem, but just wanted to get a second opinion.
Yesterday, my device has been shut off at random. Did a battery pull and it started back up no problems.
Today, the device shut off, so I did a battery pull. Put the battery back in, white screen with hourglass spinning, and then it shut off again. This happened several times after each battery pull. On one occasion I was able to get to the homescreen, but after loading up and verifying the security software, device just shut off. I noticed the battery meter was running low around 30% so when I got home, I plugged it into the wall. After no more than 10minutes, meter was reading 50% (seems a bit too quick).
Under normal conditions, if my device is fully charged, less than an hour's worth of internet browsing would bring the charge down to 80-85%. Basic BB programs running, as well as Opera Mini that's it. |
