I'm suspecting a battery problem, but just wanted to get a second opinion.

Yesterday, my device has been shut off at random. Did a battery pull and it started back up no problems.

Today, the device shut off, so I did a battery pull. Put the battery back in, white screen with hourglass spinning, and then it shut off again. This happened several times after each battery pull. On one occasion I was able to get to the homescreen, but after loading up and verifying the security software, device just shut off. I noticed the battery meter was running low around 30% so when I got home, I plugged it into the wall. After no more than 10minutes, meter was reading 50% (seems a bit too quick).

Under normal conditions, if my device is fully charged, less than an hour's worth of internet browsing would bring the charge down to 80-85%. Basic BB programs running, as well as Opera Mini that's it.

Mine never got that bad, but I couldn't use certain apps like the video player, camera, etc. that were higher drain. It would reboot. New battery fixed it.

Thanks monkeypaw. This just started happening recently. And at the moment seems sporadic.

Where did you go for a new battery?

Update: got a new battery and everything is in good working order now.

I have problems with media player in shuffle mode just shutting off the phone. I have an 8g memeory card and an curve 8330 with 4.5 OS. My memory card is formated and brand new and songs are mostly in WPA. Can anyone tell me why this is happening and how to reslove it please?

We don't talk about such things here as i'm sure a mod will come along and tell you.
