Default Wi-Fi Connection Problems with 8320

Please Login to Remove!

My 8320 can recognize the Wi-Fi network in my house, but when I try to connect the phone to the network, I get a W010 error message. I've spoken with T-mobile (my carrier) and Verizon (my ISP). They recommended resetting the router and disabling WEP, but those ideas didn't work, so they more or less gave it. Is this an insolvable problem?

Thank you.

The causes of that error are out of range, weak signal, or the blackberry has incorrect security settings.

If you can connect to your wifi with other equipment, then I would try getting closer to the router, but you've probably already done that.

Next step is to go back over the settings (router and blackberry) very carefully and make sure you've done what you think you've done.

For what it's worth, the only time I had this error, I didn't have the WEP key set on the router that I thought I had set.
