When I go to media to look at my pics, like everybody else, it goes: media -- pictures -- my pics or preloaded pics -- and there you are. Is there ANY way to skip the "my pics/preloaded pics" part, delete it, eliminate it?? I've never had preloaded pics & I never will. Just an annoying extra step. For that matter, I wish I could completely separate out the pics from the other media, music, ringtones, et al.

You could launch the camera, press the menu key and select view pictures. If the camera is your convenience key, it would be 3 steps. Convenience Key, Menu Key, click trackball (view pics should be highlighted by default).

Other than that, I am not sure how to remove the preloaded pics folder.
