Default status keeps giving me different amount of file free bytes

i clear my browser files, txts, emails and do the memory clean, yet i keep getting different readings. it's not accurate. i have to always do a battery pull in order to see a higher amount of free bytes. is this typical with blackberrys?

Working as designed. The OS uses memory as it operates.

Are you experiencing some sort of problem with the device?
