Default Unlocked 8320/Boost mobile questions.

Hello. I just have a couple questions. I recently switched to VZw and a new Tour, so I no longer need my T-Mobile Curve. Im thinking of unlocking it and giving it to a family member to use on Boost. Now that they have BB Data plans. To set it up for Boost after I unlock, do I still need to follow this guide here: BlackBerryForums.com : Your Number One BlackBerry Community - View Single Post - Need Help With Boost Mobile!!!!!

If there is a different way please let me know. Thanks for the time and help.

Mixing technologies (like drinks) is a bad idea...

The 8320 (T-Mobile) runs on GSM/EDGE and will never work on Nextel, Sprint, Boost or Verizon Wireless.

Thank you. I wasn't sure which type of network Boost used. That solves it all. And trust me, I've learned the hard way not to mix drinks anymore. ;) Thanks again.
