There are loads of email Q & A's here, but I've been unable to find help with this particular issue. My friend has a Verizon Curve, which incidently has enough makeup lodged in the trackball to choke a horse. I've advised her to clean the trackball using alcohol ASAP. Anyway, she wanted my help setting up her Hotmail account on the BB, so I did that, but now her Hotmail goes to both the BlackBerry email folder and her Hotmail email folder. What did I do incorrectly while setting that up? She wants her email to go to separate folders.

Thats the way a blackberry works.
the MESSAGES icon is a catch all for all messages, including email.
