Hey Guys. I have spend a good chunk of last week tryn to resurrect an 8310 4merly at&t now T-mob.-US Ph. "JVM Error 547". (Flash Write Failed) I have esp tried the JL_Cmder wipe, restore, bra bra bra to no avail. After 3 Computers; trial and error method. My BB won't be detected. I have been eying the T-mobile's MyTouch -google..... Is this a sign? Trust me, i have read every thread on here on the taking out the battery etc. If i was earning $2/Hr, i would have by now bought another. From DM 5.0 to 4.6 to 4.7, i have tried them all. Or is it Karma coz i faked my email on BB site? Pls HELP.

If the device is on AT&T you will have to download device software from AT&T

after you download and install device software
connect your BlackBerry to computer without battery
run loader.exe (C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader)
follow the setup wizard
before you click on FINISH
do this
click on ADVANCED
check both boxes
put battery back to the device
click finish
Loader will start loading device software

Post results back

Go tot he yellow sticky at the top of the 8310 section. Find the latest OS for your device and reload it. Follow the directions EXACTLY. And be patient, it can take an hour or longer.
