Default delete unused icons

Please Login to Remove!

I have a few unused icons on my screen which apparently are for programs that can be installed on my BB but which I have not installed. I cannot delete them by going either to the "Applications" section under preferences or via my Desktop manager as they do not appear in those listings. I assume that is becuase these are not installed programs. Is there any way to permanently get rid of these icons? I suppose I could hide them but that seems inefficient. Also, I suppose I could install the underlying programs and then delete -- but I would prefer not to do that.

Thanks

Ted

Most of those are likely not programs, but shortcuts or links. There is no underlying program. Most people move them into a folder and hide them.

Can you explain how I can create a folder and move them as this sounds like the best solution? Thanks again.

On your homescreen, hit the menu button --> Add folder. Then on every icon you want to hide, highlight the icon, hit the menu button, and click on move, then move the icon to the folder.

Once you have all the icons in the folder, you can highlight the folder, click the menu button and goto hide.
