I can't post a link to what I'm referring to since i have less than ten posts, but it is the sticker looking thing that attaches to the PCB underneath the keyboard. I've seen this item for sale online a lot, but can't find a guide on how to replace it, and it doesn't seem possible.

Posting sites that send virus and other spam is not a good way to get help.
McAfee reports this site as a bad one to visit.

McAffee also said svchost.exe was a virus too....

I'm sure it's possible as it just peels off. However, it can be difficult to get the 83xx devices apart as they have that sticky foam between the display and the front cover. I have disassembled a few of them and it's a real PITA. The piece of foam has to be replaced as it rarely comes off in one piece.

Well shucks, you caught me. I figured that the topic at hand would be the best strategy for luring in unsuspecting victims and stealing their identity. I've been foiled again by rock solid software like McAfee.

Have you ever peeled off the part I'm talking about? I'm worried about getting it all off in one piece and the adhesive that might be left behind on the circuit board.
