Default Attachment Support in Curve 8320, OS 4.5

Please Login to Remove!

Hello,

I need some information about the attachment service in my BB 8320 device.
I don't have BIS/BES right now, but I am planning to go for BIS Lite plan.

Can I send any file as an attachment. Is there any limit (like size, type, etc).
Currently if i try to compose an email, the device prompts that the mail will be saved in draft. Well thats OK as I don't have any data plan activated yet.

Later from the menu I can see an option "Attach File".
But I am able to select only pictures.
Is it also possible to send *.doc, *.txt, etc files as attachment?
If YES please explain how...!

Will someone please explain the attachment support in BB 8320 and what is possible with email attachments when it comes to the following:

-sending files as attachment
-receiving attachments
-editing attachments
-saving attachments
-etc

thanks and regards,
Vinay

You would need to contact them then to see what the limitations are and what is and is not included.
