The ability to use more than 160 characters in a text message and enable threaded messages doesn't seem to be available to me on my 8330 curve from Sprint. When I click the update button to try to get 5.0, it seems to go through the update, but nothing changes. When I click it again after the "update", it still shows version 4.5, even though the 8330 is listed as compatible with 5.0. Is this a provider issue, because I'm with Sprint? I'm frustrated! My texts were so much better organized, and I could save and lock entire conversations on my previous, "lesser" phone. I've heard some people reference Beyond 160, but I have no idea where to locate that software or if it's compatible with my phone. Help...?
