I have searched all over the internet to try and resolve this, to no avail. I have a BlackBerry Curve 8330 and all headphones with the proper size jack used to work fine. Now, all these same headphones only provide audio out of the right ear bud. If I pull the headphones out slightly, I can get audio in both ears, but I literally have to hold it in an exact position and if I bump it, I lose the audio in the left ear. I have updated my operating system and pulled the battery, to no avail. Is there any way to fix this?

If it worked fine before and now doesn't, it unfortunately might be some contact getting worn down a little. Try other headsets. You can use standard stereo headsets without the microphone.

It could be worth trying to clean the jack with a cotton wool bud.
