Lastest Version of Google Sync Not Working
 
I just upgraded to the latest version of Google Sync (.7.3 or something like that) on my Blackberry Curve 8830. Before I upgraded to the latest version of Google Sync from .5 something, I was able to sync all of my contacts, pick and choose between what Google calendars I wanted to sync, and it worked great!

The only reason I chose to upgrade to the latest version is because I'm installing Google Sync on other several other Blackberries in the company and I'm experiencing problems on theirs, now as well as mine..

The problems I'm experiencing is that I can only get the main calendar to sync when it's set to be on automatic sync... if I try to sync more than the main calendar, I get the following error "Sync Failed Please try again later. If the problem persists try signing out of the sync and signing in again". I get this error if I try syncing my contacts or any of my other Google calendar besides the primary calendar.

I've un-installed and re-installed Google Sync about 3 times as well as un-installing my Facebook app on my Blackberry just in case the calendar from Facebook was causing problems, and nothing has worked.

Any advice would be most appreciated. - Thank you

Sounds to me like a Google issue and not a BB issue. Have you checked with Google?

Google is the issue here. Mine stopped working a few days ago.

same here i deleted my google sync then reinstalled, it pushed my calendar and now i have NO contact in my BlackBerry

My Google sync stopped working yesterday. I finally signed out as instructed, and signed back in to find duplicate calendar entries on the device - even though there was only 1 calendar on the device (associated w/ my gmail address).

I deleted google sync, deleted my gmail address from the handheld, and deleted the corresponding CICAL file from the Service Book. Then I deleted the default calendar (that came back after I deleted my email & sync) through the Desktop Manager/Backup/Advanced section.

I recreated my gmail address, reinstalled google sync, logged in, and everything was back to normal. The default calendar was gone, leaving only the right one associated w/ my gmail account.

So far so good...until the next sync. It failed...same message we're all getting to try again and log out if it persists. I had a couple of successful syncs after that, mostly for my gmail contact list, with the calendar failing. I'm not signing out again and going back to find more duplicate calendar entries!

I'm hoping this is something on Google's end and they'll fix it.

Pretty frustrated.
