Default Help pleassee :)

Okay so I'm pretty new here, actually I just made an account to ask a few questions, (I don't even know if I'm in the right forum?) so any help is very much appreciated.

I have a blackberry curve 8310 and when I plug it in to charge it won't unless I have it in a certain position. I'm 100% sure that it's not my charger because I tried using my brothers and my dads chargers. So it has to do with the phone. I was wondering if the charging pod for blackberry phones will work for me in my situation? I don't really know much about it, anyway thanks a bunch for your help :D

Welcome to the forums.

A charging cradle will work to charge your phone. However you won't be able to connect the device to your PC to create backups, etc.

Welcome.

Thread moved to a more appropriate section.

Sounds to me like the USB plug is broken. As jsconyers said, it will prevent you from syncing with your PC.

If you bought this used, consider returning it to the seller and getting your money back as you will be limited in what you can do. If it is your (old) device, consider getting a newer model.

I've had several models including the 8310 and I would suggest you purchase your BB at a store, at least that way you can bring a big guy to threaten the clerk. Seems a broken USB cradle is very common and if you buy it online it's like a declaration of war to get a new one. Most staff are conditioned that we all jerk and yank our phones when connected. Good luck.

Encouraging someone to threaten another person??? That sounds like a GREAT IDEA! NOT! :(

Wow. Some people.
