screen cracked. 8-{ all ebay models the same?

Hi, my better-half dropped her curve (she uses a skin and screen protector but not a case). Still many months before qualifying for a new one. I see replacements on eBay for about $100, but (assuming honest seller), can I just buy any unit advertised as a VZW 8330 Curve? Or are some different than others?

and then she needs new codes for about 6 apps (sigh). Too bad I can't just swap the shell (or can I?)
