Talking Keys swapped?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi there

The 'z' and 'y' keys appear to have swapped on my Blackberry - i.e. when I press the 'y' key it gives me a 'z' and vice versa - does anyone know how to fix this and what causes the problem?

Thanks

Louise

Are any other keys acting up?

Is this a QWERTY style keyboard across the top?

Any bets that it is a QWERTZ keyboard?

Hi

It's a QWERTY keyboard - no other keys are behaving strangely! Any suggestions?

Thanks for your help

It may be a QWERTY keyboard, but it sounds like a QWERTZ device. I would guess that someone either installed the wrong keyboard on the device, or someone deliberately installed a QWERTY keyboard thinking it would change the QWERTZ device into QWERTY.

Where'd you get the BlackBerry? You might want to consider returning it.
