Unhappy Keypad Problems

Please Login to Remove!

Here's the issue; some of the buttons on the keypad of my 8330 aren't working (space bar, "c" "v", "b", "sym", "end" and "back"). I shouldn't say they don't work - they do if you push them really hard several times. They also feel different, there is no give to them. I've had the phone for over a year and this just started a few weeks ago. The phone has never gotten wet but it has been exposed to moisture.

I replaced the keypad and keytray (as well as the housing just because I wanted a different color ). Obviously it didn't fix it. I'm wondering if maybe I need to replace the connecter switch under the keypad? Has anyone had any experience doing this? I don't want to totally ruin my phone.

Or am I just screwed? I hope not, I love my BB.

Thank you!

It may be cheaper to get a new phone of that model than to fix. If its wet, its probably history.
