Default BB 8330 Problem

Please Login to Remove!

Hey Gang-

I'm new here so I probably am posting in the wrong section but here goes. I have a 8330 that has been acting up lately. I will confess that about the top 1st inch of it fell in some soda pop on Sunday but it has worked since then fine. Anyhow basically the keys and trackball won't function completely. I've tried pulling the battery reset but when the phone starts up it won't allow me to select a app (phone, book, calender, messages, etc.). In fact when I used to do a battery reset it would ask for me to unlock with * then the green phone buttons. Now it doesn't even do that. The light timer simply expires and the screen goes black. I can roll the trackball but when I press it I get nothing, in fact all buttons won't work when pushed.

Please and thank you in advance!

Best Regards,

Yardsale21

It may be too late. Take the battery out and dont place back for several days. See link.

Ah hell with it. Just gives me a reason to buy the Torch. Anybody know if Nextel/Sprint have it in stores yet?

Please check our 9800 section and Rumor Mill. The hope is a CDMA phone will be developed for their network

The initial 9800 will be a GSM device on AT&T. When the CDMA version hits either Verizon or Sprint is anyone's guess at this point. You might be better off with a 9650 for now.
