Default 8310 GPS not working anymore

Please Login to Remove!

I have an 8310. Bought second hand unlocked.
Originally on Virgin liberty sim with unlimited WAP but no BB Data service ----> GPS Worked
Ordered O2 BB Sim -----> Updated to latest 4.5 and installed BB maps + app world (which were both unavailiable before new O2 Sim). Loaded BB Maps and got GPS Signal. Used BB Maps navigation and played with turn by turn directions.

However ever since i used it this one time with new O2 sim on BB Maps its not working anymore.
I have google maps and get cell tower location but GPS unavailiable.
In settings GPS i get error of GPS timed out (have done this inside and outside in clear space and clear sky............also did it in same place i previously got a signal!)
I have done battery pull more than once no success.
Have reloaded the OS 4.5 with no success.

Have done the testing of GPS still no fix just times out as well.

Any ideas?
Anybody know specifically where the GPS is on the motherboard? (i'm assuming its under the metal boxes :S)
Is it possibly O2 that is causing problem ??

[Its not unlimited data, its a fair use policy, though the number of MB is not in their small print and depending where you read is 250 or 500MB]

they say its unlimited until september in which its 500mb. But that is not the point of discussion.
My point and purpose of discussion is problems with gps stated in first post.

Make sure that you have "Location Services" ON.

What did you do to the device before the GPS stopped working? Drop it? Load a new theme or a new app.

Have you resent service books?

To get a decent GPS lock, you need to be outside with a clear view of the sky. Can take 20 minutes or more, particularly if you are not in the same location as the last GPS "fix".

location services in on
Phone has not been dropped. Had a theme loaded. Don't recall loading any app.
But as i say i have reinstalled 4.5 since it wasn't working thinking a problem may be in software but i still remain with no GPS.

Have resent service books
