Question putting apps on 8310 (no internet/data plan)

Please Login to Remove!
Is it possible to download and install apps onto a computer then transfer over to my 8310 using desktop manager?

If so, how? The BB app website will only let me download the files directly to my 8310.

I just need a free, simple notepad-type app on my 8310.

if you can download the app from ur pc download it and then use desktop manager to install it

BB appworld won't let me download the apps directly to my computer therefore i can't put it on my blackberry!!

not all apps will install that way. you might try the latest OS for the 8310. I know some exist in different carriers loads

You need desktop install files for the apps you want to do what you want to do, berryman. They are rarely provided anymore, as far as I can tell, as over-the-air (OTA) is routine nowadays.
