8330 lost its browser and mms after jvm 102 error
I have a verizon 8330 that was flashed over to metro pcs. Everything worked, web, text, mms, etc. My wife rebooted the phone cause it locked up. When it came back on, it had the jvm 102 error. I connected to desktop manager and updated the phone. When it was done, phone came back on but without browser icon and no mms option. The phone works, i can make and receive calls and text works as well. Any suggestions? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You need service books. I am not sure if Metro offers BB service or not.

Try going into Options > Advanced Options > Host Routing Table > Menu Key > Register Now.

I did that and it said message sent, but still nothing.

You lost your service books. Do you have a backup? You could do an advanced restore of your Service Books.

Unfortunately no backup. I guess ive learned my lesson on that one. Is there any other way? Thanks for your time.

Contact Metro PCS and see if they can resend your service books.
