Default Contacts only partially syncing

Please Login to Remove!

Hi there,

I am using a blackberry curve at work with the latest desktop software and outlook 2007.
In outlook i have a number of sub folders coming off of my main contacts folder and currently a selection from each are syncing with the blackberry.

to clarify some contacts from some of the folders and no contacts from some of the others are syncing.

I did a search and there was an issue with this reported before that was corrected by inserting a first name for every single contact. This is not practical in my case and many hundreds do not have a first name entered but are instead contacts that are companies rather than individuals.

any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

I would but its not discriminating in that way.
even contacts that have full name information are not syncing.

Then you might want to contact your IT Department. They might re-activate your device for you.

However if they also tell you to try the fix you found, depending how nice your IT department is.

What might be worth a try, wipe your BlackBerry sync over the wire using the BlackBerry Desktop Manager, verify all your contacts are in your BlackBerry then activate it on the BES. That is not guaranteed fix however.
