| My advice is if you are new to the BB, you hold off on trying to fix something that might not be broken. Get to know the device. Make it work for you.
Then if you need something, that is the time to look at an upgrade. But remember, you can do more harm than good. the Forum is full of such cases, Granted we generally only get the bad and not he good.
But if you must, the latest OS is in the yellow sticky at the top of each device thread. In your case, at the top of the 8300 section. Toy need an OS for your specific device, meaning an 8310 OS will not work on an 8350.
Also there you will find the instructions on how to do the upgrade. Follow them exactly and be patient. It can take an hour or longer to run. |
