Default Very basic email and Messenger question!!

Please Login to Remove!

Greetings folks,

I have just got my BB 8300 and find it all well and good, but how do I get BB Messenger and receive and send emails over the phone?

AS well as that I see references to software. What software do I need and where do I get it?

Sorry to be so thick, but I've just downloaded the manual and am in shock with the size of it!

First, you need a blackberry data plan, or data service. Not just the general mobile data service, but specific for blackberry. You buy it from the same service provider for your mobile phone. It is an extra charge.

The software may be Desktop Manager. It is on the CD you may have found in the box with your blackberry. You can also download it free at blackberry.com.

You need to get a BLACKBERRY Internet Service DATA Plan from your phone service carrier.

Call your carrier.
