Default Media Scanning...

Please Login to Remove!

Hey everyone,
My first time posting and I have a problem that I hope you can help me with.
A little while ago I downloaded, installed and ran the Roxio Media Manager for my Blackberry 8310 (my first mistake I think).
During the initial connection between the computer and device there was a sync performed.
When I went on to my curve - into the Media - there was a white space at the bottom that says "Scanning". My problem is that it won't go away. It doesn't seem to actually be scanning anything and it doesn't seem to affect the use of the Media area or any other device function, but the white space is there constantly.
Does anyone know if I did something wrong - besides installing and using Roxio Media Manage?
Is there any way to remove the "scanning" thing?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Default

The BB will scan the card for media content whenever you reboot or eject it from mass storage mode. And this scan process can take a while if you have large files.
What size media card do you have?

Have you tried closing the media app, then open it again to see if its still there 'Scanning'?
Have you tried a battery pull?
