Hello i am new to this. so i have a BB curve 8330 its a verizon phone but it has been flashed to metro does this affect why it does not want to redirect email? i would say it does but i am not sure just want to have a second opinion.

Redirector has dies and gone the way of lost electrons. RIM doesn't support it any longer and the latest versions of DM do not have it as an option.

Do you have BB data plan? You need that to have any attempt at working. Don't know if having Metro has any bearing or not, but it could.

IMHO, it never was a good idea to use it.

no i do not have the blackberry data plan but some one that i know has a blackberry and does not have the data plan and he got it to work the only difference is that his phone is actually a verizon account with the verizon phone

If your friend has a BlackBerry on Verizon, they most assuredly have a BlackBerry Data Plan.

Verizon has ALWAYS required a data plan for BlackBerry devices.

You need to talk to MetroPCS about getting the data working on Metro.

I will try that and see what i come back with, does the pin number matter or will metro need to reprogram the phone with a new pin number i am new to this sorry my questions are retarted.

You can't change the PIN.

So if i cant change the pin or if i go to metro and get on the blackberry plan will i be able to use the blackberry redirector since i think the pin plays a role in it
