Default Help! I am having issues with my BB! (8350)

When I take off my battery the screen shows:
uncaught exception applicationregistry.waitfor (0x9850447e783b0596) timeout

I have recently did an update and I had lost my contacts & calendar. Last night I pluged it back in and did a restore. Now I am not getting my emails from my social networking site and I've noticed that I am not getting regular emails either. I am not phone savy, so any help would be great!

Uncaught exception errors are very tough to track down. Corrupt contacts, third-party app conflicts, and corrupted operating systems are just a few possible causes. I had a BB 8800 that developed this problem when I added groups to my contacts list.

Most likely you'll have to reinstall/update the BlackBerry operating system on your device. Follow the steps exactly as they're laid out in the FAQ and you should breeze through it.

You don't have to be upgrading to a newer version of the OS. Just re-installing the OS follows the exact same procedure. You can find the software for your BlackBerry here: Latest OS: 8350i (Multilanguage)

Use the BlackBerry Desktop Software to make a backup of your data first.

As Rambo said, you probably need to reinstall your OS. You can find the latest plus the instructions in the yellow sticky at the top of this (the 8300) section. Follow the instructions exactly and be patient. It can take an hour or longer.

Default Help! I am having issues with my BB! (8350)

I too have received the same error. I've uninstalled (by going back a version) and reinstalled the updated O.S. (several times) and am still getting the same error. I've redownloaded the latest O.S. and reinstalled it, and still the same. I've wiped, and done just about everything I can think of to get rid of this boot error.

I've called tech support and there about as worthless as can be! Have there been any revelations about how to fix this issue that I've missed in forums around the world?
