Red face Bb Messenger

I am trying to free up memory on my 8300, if I delete the BB Messenger will it hurt the other BB services, or will it make that much difference? Thanks in advance.

BBM is pretty independent of the other apps on a BB. It does take up a lot of space and it is good to delete it if you don't use it. I delete the photo, list & calendar cods from the java folder when I update my OS. It cuts the size down. Every kb saved is a kb more memory.
