I'm having a problem with my 8310 Blackberry. When I turn the phone on, it will work fine for a little while. After a bit, the phone will act as if the ALT button is constantly engaged. A black upside-down arrow will appear in the the top right hand corner, and once that arrow appears the phone quits working correctly. When I press the letters on the phone, it will type the commas and periods etc.

Has anybody experienced this and/or have any suggestions on how to get this fixed?

Did you drop it or get it wet?

Have you tried a battery pull? With the device on, pull the battery for about 30 seconds. Replace and let it reboot.

i did a handheld wipe with JL_CMDER.EXE and now my 8310 shows error 507. What can I do. Any ideas guys. Somebody help me out please

Reload the OS. See the yellow sticky at the top of the 8300 section for the correct OS for your device and the instructions. Follow them exactly and be patient. It can take an hour or longer to run.
