Is this a 9550 as in your profile or an 8320?

Some carriers require you to have a BB data plan before sending the proper service books, which include the BB Browser and WiFi. Without that , you are stuck with the hotspot browser.

You could try to d/l Opera Mini and see if you can get that to work. It is a poor work around. Some get it to work, others do not. Not sure if it works well over WiFi though since I am not a user. Use Google to find it.

Thanks for the reply.

I see two services in my 8320 device's Service Book:
Wi-Fi TCP/IP Browser
Wi-Fi TCP/IP Transport

Can you tell me if they are enough or not to use internet via WiFi?
Cheers
