Question Del key

Please Login to Remove!

The Del key does not always seem to delete the characters I want it to delete from the far right to left. It deletes the characters that I want to keep, one at a time, and I have to retype everything. How is Del supposed to function? It certainly does not function like the delete on my pc. Sometimes it works fine but the more text the weirder it acts.

Default Re: Del key

The delete works just like you would expect, with possibly one exception--If the cursor is at the beginning of a text field, the del key will delete characters to the right. When the cursor is located elsewhere in a text field, the del key deletes characters to the left. At least on versions where the text is read from the left to the right.

Exactly what are you seeing?
