I used to have an old Desktop Software program and had no problem but now that I have upgraded to the v4.6 I get a "unknown error reported" from the Intellisync software so I cannot synchronize the handheld with the computer. I cannot find a v4.5 anywhere. I am hoping that if I use the older software I won't have a problem. I realize that I am dealing with a dinosaur but I live in Africa and this is what I have for the moment. Sure would be nice to get the thing up and working again even though the rest of the world has moved on to better equipment. I have wondered if I should wipe the thing but don't know if that would be worth the hassle.
A part of the problem is that I tried a Torch for a while but the local provider, Airtel, promoted the Torch but couldn't support it in the end. After a month I had to take it back and return to my Curve. I hoped that I would be able to put my data from Torch onto the Curve but the v6.0 desktop software won't work on the Curve. Is there any way that I can get that onto my Curve.
