Have a recent problem with my 8530. My battery is draining at a rapid pace while I am on the phone. It will generally hold a charge all day unless I've got a lot of emails, texts, etc coming in.

I just had a 15 minute phone conversation and it went from 75% to 2%. I've done some of the more common battery preserving things like:

1. Backlight set to 10%
2. Phone on Silent
3. Update roaming when traveling
4. Killed applications like FB and Twitter before closing

I am at my wit's end. I am reluctant to make a call for fear I will render my phone useless after the call is completed.

Help!

Have you tried another battery....either borrow a battery for a test, or buy and new one?
