What did you do different starting the Thurday-Friday time frame? List anything you can think of.

There are several core apps that run all the time. If you select switch application from the menie you will see what is running, including add-on and third-party apps. But it is possible to have an app running in the background that doesn't show.

You should go through all the apps you installed and check settings to see if they are configured to run in the background when closed. To test, fullly close everything that can be closed and delete what can't.

It is possible, though unlikely, the battery suffered an early death or there is some hardware fault that developed.

Also, did you drop the device or get it wet?
