Thanks Motorcycle Mama for your quick response. I used to be with Rogers but not since January 2011. I have been using the Curve via WiFi.
Before the USB plug broke if I ran into functioning problems with the Curve, I would wipe the Curve then use Desktop Manager to re-install the OS 4.5 and the Curve would work just fine again. I do not have that option now with the broken USB plug (which cannot be repaired).
So in a nutshell, you are saying I am unable to re-install the Curve OS 4.5 via the Internet.
I went to the Blackberry website (http://ca.blackberry.com/software/sm...berry7-os.html
) and it says to go to Options then choose Device then Software Updates and follow the instructions. However, I do not even have "Device" listed in Options.
