My wife and I both have the 8703e model. Both with Verizon Wireless. Her phone is from her employer, and mine is through my business...so they are on different accounts. When a call comes in on call waiting and we decide to answer it, both of our phones drop the call we were just on (rather than putting it "on hold."
From a courtesy standpoint, this is probably not a bad thing, because it prevents us from leaving anyone on hold. We either choose to remain on our current call and call the other caller back later...Or...we get off the first call to take the incoming call.
However, if would be nice if the phone worked the way it should.
