Default NYC Curve Launch Event - The "I'll Be There List"

Please Login to Remove!

Boys & Girls,

Wanted to get a fresh thread for those that will be attending the NYC event on 6/7 in NYC. I will be attending this event (although I am not a dealer.) From the looks of the LA curve launch party, my sense is this will not be anywhere near as "hot" nor will there be free handsets...although I hope this is false.

So...who's going to come through for the event?

BG, we should throw one down.

Regards,
dolo

lol Nitty,

Caught me for a second.

I was hoping we'd get more attendees from the bbf crew.

yoyo -

are you a reseller of cingular service? just curious. I don't sell devices, the company I work for is a corporate partner of cingular/att's.

A good friend of mine is a reseller and he put me on his list. Is this going to be as good as 8800 party?

didn't go to the 8800 party, went to the 8700 party. That was pretty decent. We all got free devices shipped to us after the event.

I hope we can get 8300's at this party...

Question

The rep who got me invited to the 8700 and 8800 parties claims that there is no 8300 event (obviously misinformed.) So is this a dealer-only thing? Will there be devices for all attendees, like in the past two years?

Dude,

I saw the pics from the LA Curve launch party. Given all the "dealer" oriented questions when filling out the registration it seems pretty dealer centric...

Regardless if the are dealers or not, I would think RIM would want to give them out as the dealers are the "intermediary 3rd party" during the buying decision process (a stretch...i know.)

I'm hoping we walk out with Curves.
