| LOL, a curious thought just popped in my head. Not like i'm going to attempt to do it but more curious.
The T-Mobile over in Europe, do they happen to use the same SIMs are the one's we get for TMO in the US? Say you get a TMO Germany phone, would that phone have to be unlocked to use for TMO US?
My first intial thought is that there would be no need for any unlocking. | | Offline

| I was yesterday in Aachen (near from the Belgian border) and the Blackberry Curve was not in sale nowhere. I did 2 big T-mobile shop, they said that they will receive it in a few weeks. Well, maybe you can find it in bigger town, like Koln,Berlin...
Anyway, in Germany it's like in Belgium in what I know, all mobile phones are sold UNLOCKED, it's the law. So if you buy the Curve in Belgium or Germany, it will work for sure directly in USA.
Cheers. | | Offline

And how do the plans work in germany. Is everything still technically prepaid and no contracts?

Euro is worth more than the dollar
So that Advert is 70 Euros (phone) plus 28 Euros/month (plan)
94.56+ 37.82/month

Most of the phones sold by T-Mobile Germany are locked - except the BlackBerry devices. They have never locked any of their BBs Btw, I have received my T-Mobile Curve yesterday.
