Default Strange Caller ID Issue

Please Login to Remove!

This is my second day with the 8300 and haven't found any problems with it so far... except that when I received a call today, the number appeared but not the name, but when I went to the Phone Log, the name appears. This happened a couple of times today. Has anyone else experienced an issue with this?

I've not had that issuse......maybe try deleting the address book entry and re-enter it and see if that aids at all :::shurg:::

Small--go to Phone > Options > Smart Dialing. Make sure your Country Code is set as "+1". You can enter your Area Code as well. Save.

That should fix your issue, a common question on the board here.

great tip! I am in the UK so the country code has to match where you are so mine is +44 america is +1 etc. After making that change all worked great! Why doesnt BB just do this automatically on the device?
