Long Email Messages
I'm getting some messages that say "more available" at the bottom. I've got the phone set to auto more but a couple of these messages (from the same sender) don't "auto more" or "manual more." When I manually ask for More or More All, it tells me, "couldn't receive more." His two messages with that problem are marked with an X. Any solutions? Thoughts? Maybe his emails just aren't reading and the Curve is being helpful.

If you're using BIS, try resending your service books. Might help, can't hurt. Especially with the BIS issues reported today.

It's BES. I think it has something to do with the fact that this one sender is an AOLer. Though I don't know exactly what causes the problem, I suspect it's an AOL/BES glitch, probably with some AOL proprietary nonsense behind it.

I took the very same email from my PC and forwarded to myself (therefore, no AOL involved) and it had a number of "more available(s)." Each time I hit those, the BB "auto more'd" the rest of the message until it was complete.

Not sure what this glitch is but anyone sending mail from AOL deserves not to get it all read. :)

No, this is a security setting in BES that disable acess to Long Messages and pics from outside the BES mail. I have spent a long number of hours with Blackbeery and my company BES admin to get to this point.

The andmin COULD enable it (default is not enabled), but chose to accept this security setting this way.

Basically you get the first 4k of the message, then its restricted. I think there is a bug, in that you can get the rest of the message, one line at a time, by pressing ok to the more failed message.
